Bodybuilding & hypertrophy
Understanding how exercise choices, execution, effort and recovery fit together when the goal is building muscle.
ABOUT YOUR COACH / TYLER WILLIAM MURATA
I built TWM Strength from the same drive that led me to coach myself: a love of bodybuilding, a need to understand the work, and a commitment to keep learning.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Formal education gives me a foundation. Coaching myself puts that knowledge into practice. Continuing to learn keeps both moving forward.

THE JOURNEY
Know the work. Keep learning.
Taking responsibility for my own bodybuilding journey meant learning how to make decisions about training, nutrition and recovery—and how to evaluate those decisions honestly.
That takes more than knowing a list of exercises. It takes an understanding of exercise execution, training volume, effort, progression and fatigue. It also takes patience: tracking what happens, recognizing when something needs to change, and learning from the result.
That process shaped the coach I want to be. I want you to understand the purpose of your plan and feel comfortable asking why. My own experience gives me a perspective to bring to our work; your goals, starting point and feedback guide your program.
THE STANDARD I KEEP
My love for bodybuilding is also a commitment to keep expanding what I know—and to use that knowledge with care.
Understanding how exercise choices, execution, effort and recovery fit together when the goal is building muscle.
Paying attention to movement quality, adapting exercises to the individual, and recognizing when another professional’s expertise is needed.
Turning nutrition knowledge into practical food choices, fueling habits and consistency. Staying willing to update an approach as evidence develops.
WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU
Your starting point matters.
You don’t need to step onstage to train with purpose. Whether you’re building strength, improving fitness or finding confidence in the gym, your starting point matters.
One-to-one coaching keeps me focused on the person using the program: your schedule, movement confidence, priorities and response to training.
Your investment is in the time and judgment behind your coaching—reviewing your starting point, explaining decisions, and adjusting the plan around your progress and feedback. The level of contact and review depends on the service you choose.
I bring the discipline of coaching myself and the willingness to keep learning. Together, we put that work toward your goals.
